Senior High Dual Enrollment Opportunities
Senior High students have the opportunity to dual enroll with two other educational systems while attending CCS: State College of Florida and Clearwater Christian College. Dual Enrollment provides the student the chance to earn both high school credit and college credit for the same course taken at the college.
CCS Requirements for dual enrolling at either SCF or CCC:
The student must:
- have completed the Sophomore year and fulfilled all CCS credit requirements
- have an unweigthed GPA of 3.00
- have Administrative and Parental permission
- allow CCS to determine the type of college courses to be taken and the time scheduling of courses
SCF and CCC have further paperwork and registration requirements
SCF: Family letter from Pastor Sartor
- SAT or ACT testing scores [If there are none, the student must take the SCF College Entry-Level Placement Test (CPT)]
- Application and Approval paperwork
- Only certain courses can be taken
- Meeting strict deadlines in the paperwork process
CCC: Family letter from Pastor Sartor
- SAT or ACT testing scores
- Current high school transcripts
- Statement of Personal Faith
- General Application for Admission
- Letters of recommendation from the student’s pastor and high school administrator
- Completing all paperwork at least two weeks before classes begin each term
