Welcome to Community Christian School

Community Christian School was established in 1968 as a ministry of Community Baptist Church. The beautiful 20-acre campus hosts the school's Preschool (K2-K4), Elementary (K5-6th grades), and Jr.- Sr. High (7th-12th grades) programs. The campus includes several classroom buildings, an office complex, auditorium, air-conditioned gymnasium (all with connecting covered walkways), full-sized athletic fields and large playground areas. But more important than the well-maintained physical property of Community is the academic and spiritual structure. The educational program offered seeks to assist families in winning their children to Christ and training them for future service to God and country.

This goal is accomplished through the combined ministry of godly teachers and a balanced Christian curriculum. In the classroom students learn how to apply the Bible to their everyday lives, how to respect authority, and ultimately how to live an independent Christian life. CCS also offers well-rounded, reputable, award winning fine arts and athletic programs to further student's educational experience. STUDENTS EXCEL AT CCS!

CCS is a member of the Sunshine State Association of Christian Schools (SSACS) AND the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), a national agency. CCS is nationally accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and regionally accredited through the North American Christian School Accrediting Agency (NACSAA). NACSAA accreditations are recognized by the state of Florida. Our graduates are accepted by colleges throughout the nation. For further information about NACSAA visit www.nccsa.org and www.alabamachristianed.com/accreditation.html. Bottom line, we desire that as our students further their education or seek immediate employment after high school they will know how to use God's Word as the foundation of their life.

If Community is the kind of school you are looking for, we encourage you to request more information or download the Enrollment Application from this site and mail it in quickly. Feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

The 2008-2009 CCS Crusaders Classic Serve-A-Thon

It will be a Serve-A-Thon so CCS students and families can focus on helping our communities as well as raising money for the school! Opportunities for service are everywhere – neighborhoods, churches, and service organizations – each Nursery through Senior High student can help! The Classic will be raising money for Playground Improvements and to help meet some needs in the school’s budget.

The three playgrounds at CCS need improvements! Plans are to improve the drainage, ground-cover, and equipment as well as develop a Nursery playground area. Because of the economic situation that has affected all of our families and staff members, the school budget has been hurt as well. Donations to the Classic will help cover some budget needs related to the staff and to the students so that quality education can continue at CCS!
